The Licence and Certificate department is transferring to the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA/SDIR). This includes all licensing and seafarer certifications.

Coastal Radio Technical department is transferring to the Norwegian Coastal Administration, including the infrastructure for emergency communications.

Coastal Radio Stations and operators are transferring to the JRCC. Users at sea will call "Norwegian Coastal Radio North" or "- South" on VHF Channel 16 as usual.
